TCF Equine Services

TCF Equine Services was founded by my wife (Caitlyn Fisher) and I (Tanner Fisher) in 2016. With my background and knowledge of horses and her passion for riding and training we decided to seek our dreams in the equine industry.All of my life my dad has been a man about horses. Needless to say I followed in his footsteps and today my wife and I are all about horses. Throughout my childhood, I spent a great deal of time riding on a ranch in Nyssa, Oregon and showing horses in 4-H and rodeo. I spent almost two years in a Equine Production Program at Treasure Valley Community College learning under Wade Black. He taught me how take a horse from start to finish in it's training, and give it a foundation that works for every equine discipline. As my liking for this career has grown I have had a thirst for more knowledge. This thirst for knowledge has led me to begin training more horses. Over the past three years, I have been learning and expanding my training techniques by learning from trainers all over Southern Idaho as well as clinics and from continuing to work on the ranch. While at TVCC I also studied to be a farrier under Patrick Smith and Charlie Zamagni and the one thing that cannot be denied is that "no hoof, no horse!" Which has given me a passion for understanding and utilizing horseshoeing practices designed with the horse in mind. The other huge passion that I have is to teach. Young and old, new and experienced; I just enjoy sharing what I know and helping other people to grow.
